REDFERN PLACE IS A SOCIAL AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT DESIGNED TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY, WELLBEING, AND A SENSE OF BELONGING. THE DESIGN HAS ALSO BEEN INFORMED BY A DESIGNING WITH COUNTRY PROCESS WITH FEEDBACK AND INPUT SOUGHT FROM LOCAL ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS. 

Our lighting approach was focused on creating a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents.

A simple, robust, and well-considered scheme uses soft ambient lighting and targeted illumination to enhance circulation areas and shared spaces, improving visibility without compromising comfort. The result is a welcoming and practical lighting solution that supports everyday living while contributing positively to the character of the development.
