This new state-of-the-art facility at the TAFE NSW Meadowbank campus was designed to support the advancement of skills training across the building, construction, and cyber security disciplines.

The specialist lighting team delivered a considered lighting design for the triple-height atrium and the cyber security training spaces. Within the atrium, lighting was carefully balanced to support wayfinding, spatial legibility, and a strong civic presence, while maintaining visual comfort across the large vertical volume.

In the cyber security fit-out, the lighting approach prioritised visual acuity and task performance, ensuring clarity and comfort for extended periods of focused work. This functional lighting was complemented by subtle integrated accents within furniture and decorative elements, introducing warmth and visual interest to an otherwise highly technical environment.

The resulting scheme balances performance-driven illumination with restrained architectural expression, creating a productive, welcoming environment that supports both learning outcomes and user wellbeing.
